BevReview, the online drink publication, has evolved from its humble beginnings as Steve Tanner's personal blog in 2001, into the preeminent place for beverage aficionados. Along with a set of other authors, Tanner delves into the world of soft drinks, teas, flavored waters, and energy drinks with insider aplomb and requisite sarcasm.
After several years of building a loyal and vocal audience, Steve wanted to take BevReview to the next level visually, and editorially. He came to us looking for a new identity—a logo and graphical system that would distill the "friendly insider" essence of BevReview into a visual form. It was important to distinguish BevReview from industry trade sites, as well as less-serious drink aficionado blogs, while still retaining the fun and clever editorial feel Steve had cultivated. BevReview had carved out a unique mindspace, and Hexanine helped to refine the brand's message with a new tagline: "We think about what you drink". In addition to designing the "BevHead" logo design, Hexanine is also currently working with BevReview on a website redesign and strategic consulting for marketing, advertising and brand development.
