The Illinois Technology Development Alliance (ITDA) is a not-for-profit firm that assists startups in technology development/commercialization, and capital raising. While their altruistic mission was powerful, their communications weren't. The brief they presented for our work revealed a need to visually re-position the organization—to highlight its forward-thinking solutions for Midwestern entrepreneurs.
This brochure was conceived as a centerpiece of ITDA's collateral redesign. Seeking to stand out in the technology non-profit arena, the piece utilizes strong typography, fashion-corporate imagery, and a bold color palette—all unusual elements for a conservative Midwestern tech market. The brochure is perfect-bound with french fold style pages on uncoated paper stock, echoing the organization's focus on the people behind the technology. Designed in partnership with Culture22.
This custom capacity-style folder is meant to be paired with the ITDA brochure, contrasting its gloss finish and stock, while employing the same thematic graphics to unify the overall package. Designed in partnership with Culture22.
