Recently, the YMCA launched an identity redesign and repositioning unprecedented in the organization's history. The updated positioning and accompanying new brand identity reflected a change in strategy that had already been taking place within the Y: a return to its nonprofit roots and a deeper emphasis on three core areas: youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility.
As part of the Y's ongoing commitment to encourage healthy living and promote youth development, Hexanine partnered with the YMCA of the USA's Strategic Innovation Group to create a series of fun and engaging activities for children and parents. These downloadable activity sheets were created in conjunction with YUSA to help families live healthier lives while working, playing, and spending time together. From the inventive and yummy Snack Lab, to tips on being a Neighborhood Explorer, or Supermarket Treasure Hunts, Hexanine helped develop and design the activities for learning, bonding, and maximum enjoyment. Aligning with the YMCA's national brand efforts, we illustrated, edited, and curated these new additions to the Y's Healthy Family Home initiative.
